I am a 2011 graduate of EACS. Immediately after graduation, I attended La Salle University in Philadelphia where I double majored in both American History and ISBT (Integrated Science, Business, and Technology). I should have obtained both of my Bachelor’s degrees, as I wanted to go to medical school to become an ER Doctor; however, in my senior year, I realized that was no longer my dream. In the summer of 2015, immediately after classes ended, I took a leap of faith and moved to Tampa, FL. I worked part-time at T-Mobile while my husband and I figured out my life’s next steps: would I go back to school to finish my degrees or restart my life in a different career? In the meantime, I helped my husband build his career as a senior director within his company. We were living a comfortable, yet fast-paced life as we moved all around Florida for work. During that time, I discovered my passion for Real Estate and building generational wealth.
I currently live in Orlando, FL where I am the owner and team leader of a multi-million dollar Real Estate Team, The LIZ Team; I am also a real estate coach and mentor. My team and I cover the entire state of Florida, and we have expansions in Philadelphia, Delaware, New Jersey, and Maryland. I was fortunate enough to retire my husband from his corporate career, and now he works alongside me in the business on the administration side. We live a balanced life between work and family. It is a blessing to be able to provide for our family while being present in our children’s day-to-day activities. This year is a year of growth, as I am working to continue to grow my real estate team and business. I am striving to be nominated for Orlando’s 35 Under 35 and one of Central Florida’s top real estate teams!
My time at EACS prepared me for many things. I took all honors and AP classes my senior year, but the most important values I walked away with were discipline, hard work, ambition, and balance. I would not be where I am today without truly understanding these values. I remember vividly walking around with a 3-inch binder for my AP English Class (thank you Mr. Bice!) and working tirelessly for hours even during my free periods to not just work on the material but truly understand it. I wasn’t allowed to slack. I not only was a top student academically, but I also played softball and danced. I could not have done it all if I didn’t understand how to balance my schedule with everything I was involved in. With that being said, all of this allowed me to continue to follow my dreams and be ambitious, always striving to do better and be better. These are the core values EACS taught me that I use in my everyday life.
Students at EACS, you have the rest of your lives to be adults. Focus on the now. Learn time management, set goals, and get involved in school. Learn the importance of balance, but most importantly build strong relationships. Most people don’t realize that you will, in one way or another, do business with some of your old classmates, even teachers and administrators. Be a good person, and try to always do what’s right, even if it’s hard. Stop trying to take the easy way out; get comfortable with being uncomfortable, because that is the only way you grow.
