Through Their Eyes at the Woodmere Art Museum

If you haven’t had a chance to stop by the Woodmere Art Museum to see our students’ work, you still have this weekend. February 23rd will be the last day to tour the Through Their Eyes exhibit. It features works from the 2018 and 2019 academic years. Art students showcased their talent and techniques through various art forms including ceramic ocarinas, charcoal self-portraits, and mixed-media work from our AP students.

On January 12, Ms. Christensen honored the students with Certificates of Excellence at a reception in the gallery. Students, staff members, family and friends came to show their support and to admire the students’ incredible creations. We are so proud of our students on this remarkable achievement. To be selected to exhibit our work in this museum is an honor.

We also want to honor Ms. Christensen for her hard work and dedication to our students and shaping their talents and techniques to reach this goal. She teaches several classes ranging from painting and drawing, to sculpture and AP level classes. Be sure to stop by the gallery this weekend to see the pieces for yourself!
