Esperanza Academy Charter School Statement on Reduction in Force

On Thursday, December 4, Esperanza Academy Charter School experienced a four percent reduction in its workforce. Like many academic institutions across the commonwealth and nation, Esperanza Academy is operating in a challenging economic climate. The school’s management and Board of Directors made the difficult, but fiscally responsible decision to eliminate these positions. We are committed to preserving quality services for our students and their families this year and into the future. The school will take measures to ensure that there is minimal disruption to the academic year. Each impacted member of our staff has been an important part of our mission. Together, we have opened doors of opportunity for our young people to learn and to thrive and we thank them for their service.
